Change of nationality of a father does not entail change of nationality for his children, whether minors or majore, unless the latter or the former after reaching the age of maturity, might themselves intend to change their nationality while abiding by the afore-mentioned regulations. But the children born after the change of nationality of their father are naturally recognized as enjoy- ing the new nationality of their father.

Persian women connected in marriage with Foreign husbands are excluded from Persian nationality but after the death of their husbands or after being divorced, they can return to Persian citizenship by merely offering an

If they application and request to the Persian Government. may make up their minds subsequently to change nationality they are bound to abide by the usual terms.

Persian women who lose their nationality through their marriage with Foreign subjects are deprived, similar to other Foreign subjects, from possessing villages, landed properties and enjoying all other privileges of a Persiun in Persia except what the treaties provide and sanction.

It is incumbent upon all persons who may have been recognized by certain means as Persian subjects and who may claim Foreign nationality, to establish and prove this claimed nationality no matter whether it is original nationality or naturalization; and as long as they have not been able to prove the claimed nationality according to the present law they are considered as Persian subjects.

Those who might have come to Persia from Foreign countries and who might have concealed their nationality during their stay in this country and their concerns have been dealt with as those of Persian subjects, or who might have bought landed properties in Persia, a privilege exclusively for Persian subjects, are recognised as Persian subjects and their claim of Foreign nationality will not be accepted.

The terms of special conventions which might have been concluded with any Government in connection with the emigration of subjects will be evidently observed.
